'Take One' Opportunity To Make A Difference…'Action!'

Intermission Pictures ran a course for 10 days with 6 young people from the Kensington and Chelsea Youth Offending Team.

The first day involved young members from Intermission Pictures and the young people from the YOT getting to know each other, and discovering what they were passionate about exploring on film over the course of 10 days!

Having seen a 30 minute production from our Outreach Company of "Verona Road" the YOT felt inspired to tell their own version of "Romeo and Juliet" on screen in under 5 minutes.

The process undertaken to achieve this momentous task, was documented on film by a young person from the Youth Offending Team.

The skills gained during the 10 days were invaluable.

For all those involved from the YOT, it was their first experience of working in front and behind the camera. Having their peer's working alongside them made the engagement process and execution fun and enjoyable.

Here what leaders at the Youth Offending Team had to say about it……..

"For all those involved from the YOT, it was their first experience of working in front and behind the camera. Having their peer's working alongside them made the engagement process and execution fun and enjoyable for all involved."

If you think any of the young people would benefit from any of our services please contact us.
